21CT ROSE GOLD BANGLE - 8.89 GRAMS

XRF confirmed at 21 carats, this rose gold bangle has that unmistakable malleability that comes from gold with very little alloy. Over the years it has eased slightly out of perfect roundness, and a few sections of the braided pattern show gentle compression.

The woven motif itself is a traditional die struck pattern, later refined by hand to sharpen each ridge and braid. It is the kind of surface work you see in high carat pieces from the late 70s through the 90s, intricate, tactile, and designed to catch the light beautifully.
